Frances E Walter Dam
The F.E Walter Dam has the majesty of a National Park. It is a great place to drive through at sunset and there are picnic spots everywhere with charcoal grills. If you brought a kayak or paddleboard or even a fishing boat- you can hit the waters at this beautiful location. There is even a world-class disc golf course. I love photographing here.
2. Boulder View Tavern
Boulder View Tavern is one of my favorite spots to eat if you want Lake Front dining. Expect a long wait time if you arrive during the dinner rush- I would definitely recommend an early bird dinner here.
3. Pamela’s Ice Cream Stand
A short fifteen minute drive from Lake Harmony sits Pamela’s Ice Cream stand. A quaint, unassuming, decades long family run ice cream business with affordable offerings and a vast menu. Lots of outdoor seating to spread out with your family as you enjoy ice cream in the heart of the Poconos. Cosenza’s- the restaurant across the street, is also worth checking out. Owned by the same family, Cosenza’s boasts a well—rounded Italian American menu cheffed by the talented owner, Pamela Masi.
